Our
beach is a favorite with all our guests. It is safe and
sandy with comfortable lawn furniture as well as picnic tables for
shoreline meals.
The protected bays, rock shores
and deep water offer some of the best fishing in the northwoods.
Spider Lake has consistently produced Musky, Walleye, Bass, and
Crappie. The DNR installed 60 fish cribs recently so the pan
fishing will only get better.
Sorry, no jet skis, BB guns,
fireworks, etc. at our resort.
Recreation & Relaxation
We
try to offer something for everyone, a wide range of
activities and adventures. We are much like a family camp, guiding many
outings, providing lessons and offering educational information
(when wanted). Enjoy the horse shoe pit, the campfire pit,
basketball court, shuffleboard, croquet and hammocks. The
lodge has a bar, piano, foosball table, and games. Canoe or kayak on
the Turtle Chain of Lakes, the Turtle Flambeau Flowage and many
other nearby waterways. Hiking and biking in our beautiful northwoods
are just two ways to explore and experience the wildlife. Nature walks on our many wooded
trails offer berry picking and views of many wildflowers such as
iris, pitcher plants, orchids and more. There are many
waterfalls within an hour's trip away, offering spectacular day
hikes. Ask about our free guided tours to many adventures.

hard to increase pan fish populations. (Sorry, no Jet-Skis,

Canoes, kayaks, sailboat,
paddleboat, and rowboats are available. No charge for guests
to use if you are willing to share. Lessons and canoe/kayak trip

Winter Activities

Enjoy cross country
skiing and snowmobiling right from your cabin. Experience
great ice fishing, snow shoeing (free use of snow shoes) and, of
course, hiking adventures await you.
We have our own cross
country ski trails throughout our wooded, winter wonderland as of
2009 (free of charge). You can put your skis right outside
your cabin and choose either of our two trails. No other
resort in Mercer can offer this. If you want to try the Mercer
area's "Mecca" trails, they are only 5 miles away. If downhill
skiing is more your speed, there are 4 downhill skiing mountains an
easy 40 miles north (Whitecap, Indianhead, Blackjack and Powderhorn).
We also offer free guided tours of the many winter waterfalls.
